the earth holds many treasures

if you know where to look you find them

in the jungles of Africa,the foot of the mighty Niagra

and right in your own backyard

birds fly about in the treetops

rivers flow through the mountains

the sky in morning,as warming as love

what a wonderful world

we love the world in a whole new light

sharks ,dolphins and whales cry out

in peace and love

a bird gives you a show,dancing showing his plume

the big display is all but gone

the heat lingers throughout the air

as the earth spins it gives a way to a path

you hike up to a bird

it flies you to the waters edge

toads and frogs hop on lily pads to a tide pool

i want you to remember the smell of the

fresh daises that lie along the banks

the bees buzzed and bumbled

through the bluebells

many a stray deer wandered around

honeybees fluttered through the tulips

you grab a camera and capture the moment

by the light of the moon,little bear

glowed, locus called into the breeze

the peace of the night sinks in

stars dot the night sky creating a sparkle

you find Polaris,big dipper and orion

it calls you to lay down and count the stars

1,2,3,4,100 or was it 200 oh not again

there was not a cloud in the sky

in the bright purple and orange of the sunset

you paint the picture of the lake and the sunset

the sun sets in the night sky

a nearby cave reflected the glow of the moon

bats fly in and out

you danced under the light of the harvest moon

Poem like it ?
I think it is beautiful... the only flaw was it kind of broke when you put in "1,2,3,4,100 or was it 200 oh not again" but besides that it was painting a picture of all types of beauty in nature... a masterpiece!
Reply:It's alright. Try to keep the reader into the poem. Have them on the edge of their seats. But it's great how you talked so much about various things. Overall it was pretty good. 3 stars.
