I have a nearly 5 month old Kitten who has been vomiting and not eating or drinking for about 24 hours.?

She has not yet received her shots, and has only been around her brother kitten, who lives with me too. He's been acting just fine, his happy, outgoing, HUNGRY self.

I'm concerned because the other one has vomited about 4 or 5 times now (at first it looked like food, at one point was a white-ish foam, and most receintly looked like a greenish yellow liquid...) Sorry for the detail, hoping it helps. Like I said, she won't eat at all (not even wet food) and hasn't had any water as well... AND, she hasn't hardly moved from her little pillow all day!

The only possible explanation I can think of, is she got into some flowers I (foolishly) had in her reach... Some of these were irises, and lilys. I've heard lily's can be quite bad...

So, if she did eat some, what could be going on? Do I need to go to the vet asap? And, if she didn't get into the flowers, what else might be happening?

THANKS!

A concerned new Mom!

TAKE TO VET ASAP!!!!! The vomit sounds like bile which only means that there is nothing in her stomach. But the lethargy worries me a lot.
Reply:Take her to the vet as soon as possible it sounds like a poisoning to me and the longer it goes the harder it will be for the vet to save the cats life . Any toxin that gets into the blood is harder to get rid of the longer its left untreated GET HER TO THE VET NOW
Reply:You should get her to the vets, that's a long time for something so small to be dehydrated and she must be since she has kept nothing down all that time. It could be the flower thing, it could be that she may have swallowed something. Sometimes people play with string then the animal swallows the string it gets caught around their tiny bowels and prevents the waste from excreting, the symptoms she is having are the same, also she may have swallowed an insect that had some kind of insecticide on it, or have eaten some little no specific item that has been lodged there. My cat had the foam and wasn't eating she had eaten some of those Styrofoam peanuts they put in the mailing cartons, and she foamed at the mouth and wouldn't eat or drink. I brought her to the vets to hear that, it was worth it though. Take you tiny friend to the vets help her live.
Reply:Get her to the Vet now, Lily's are toxic to cats and vomiting this many times is not a good thing AT ALL, on top of all the other symptoms. When in doubt, take her to the VET! Find the emergency pet hospital right now! Oh my goodness I hope everything turns out ok!
Reply:Lilies are very toxic to cats. Vomiting bile, lethargy, and not eating or drinking are bad signs. I would take her to the emergency clinic right now if she were my kitty.
