trouble is, the leaves are turning yellow and dropping off, is this due to the amount of water ive been giving it?? i was also given a cala lily the other day with purple flowers, but its going droopy, whats wrong with it??

The first question tells me you've overwatered it-- overwatering causes the roots to rot and doesn't allow oxygen to get too the roots--
the second tells me you've underwatered it.....
underwatering causes the plant to droop ( early stages) because the plant is mostly water.
