Other than adding plants(of wich i have many)how can i remove green algae from my pond?

i have some floating plants, and marginal/shallow water/bog plants, some cattails, and one lily pad and the pond is only 3 foot wide by 3 foot long, in full sun all day.

i have green floating algae everywhere, how do i get rid of it?

Check with the local pet store. There are some fish and other water critters that will eat the algae.
Reply:I also have a pond, which I love.

I put quilt batting in my filter and my green pond cleared up. I had to change the batting material quite often at first. Check out www.gardenweb.com...go to forums then to ponds. This site is very useful and interesting and they will help you with all your pond questions. I learned about the use of quilt batting from them..

Hope this helps..
