Which plants contain stomata on which section of the epidermis???

A student estimated the number of stomata on 3 different kinds of leaves. The data aree shown below. From the data, which of the plants is a water lily, cactus, and an oak tree. Please explain why.



Upper Epidermis Lower Epidermis

A. 0 stomata/mm 214 stomata/mm

B. 27 stomata/mm 31 stomata/mm

C. 350 Stomata/mm 0 stomata/mm

Which plants contain stomata on which section of the epidermis???
a. Is the cactus...because it wants to conserve water loss due to sun and heat.

b. oak tree

c. water lilly...because the lower epidermis is under water and that would be a bad place for the stomata.
