Pond Plants?

where can I find pond plants seeds online “submerged Oxygenators like: anacharis, cabomba, hornwort seeds” for my koi pond also I want floating plants seeds such as water hyacinth , water lilies and louts. I live in Dubai, United Arab Emirates I looked everywhere here for this kind of plants but I could not find it. If any one of you live in Dubai and know where I can find what I’m looking for please tell me and for all of you who know where I can get it online also please let me know.

Also what can I use as Fertilizer for the pond plants and what kind of soil should I use.

Reply:I don't know of a place in UAE, but you can order them from the USA from. I don't know if you can get seeds of those plants, they may be hard to start. But little plants should grow fine.



There is a catch: "Plant orders outside of the United States requires a plant inspection certificate. $50.00"



I've ordered from them in the past and be very happy.



Fertilizer - they sell little capsules.



For soil you want heavy clay, really mucky soil.



They also have some good info online.



I would think you should be able to get stuff from Egypt as they have the Blue Lotus, Water Lillys, Papyrus and other great water garden plants.

I would just buy the plants.

You can probably get bulbs.
